Uses waste control guidelines and records all waste on a spoilage sheet + Performs opening, closing, and side work duties **More about you** + No college degree required + At least three years of experience as a Line Cook, including experience as a Supervisor or Lead Line Cook + Able to perform and work all culinary functions of each workstation + Ability to effectively communicate with others in a leadership capacity + Basic math skills; ability to understand, calculate and follow recipe measurements and proportions **Physical requirements** + Manual dexterity sufficient to chop, mix, blend, whip a variety of foods and liquids + Ability to lift and carry large pans from ovens or freezers, weighing up to 50 lbs + Standing and walking for the entire length of the shift + Frequently required to reach up to 6-7 feet **Shift details** Evening shift Holidays Evenings as needed Weekends 10 hour shift 12 hour shift Overtime as needed **Who we are** Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack in Wheeling, West Virginia, is a Delaware North-owned-and-operated regional gaming destination featuring 1,300 electronic gaming machines, 22 table games, live greyhound racing, and simulcast wagering.
