Principle duties and responsibilities
Key Job Functions:
Stay informed of menu item preparationsMonitor payroll and make schedule adjustments to ensure maximum productivityCheck current menu pricing and collaborate with Executive Chef and F&B Management to ensure optimal food cost is maintainedAssign and delegate tasksAssist with holiday specials and promotionsWork any kitchen position when neededCover the Sous Chef days off when neededAny other duties assigned by Executive Chef/Sous ChefBuild solid relationship with your ColleaguesTreat colleagues with respect and dignityAbility to communicate effectively with the public and other Team MembersDeliver Passionate & Engaging Service to our GuestsYou will be passionate and truly engaged in taking care of our guests, recognizing individual guests and anticipating their unique needs in order to exceed their expectationsOther duties and responsibilities may be assigned. A candidate for this position must possess the following applicable knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to demonstrate and provide applicable examples to support his/her competency.
Classical knowledge and experience with local specialties. Familiar with general cooking and all aspects of food prep.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages.Physical Demands
