Culinary Supervisor, Clubs

Supervise club cooks and food prep utilities. Working with Union members to put out service for events, such as baseball games and catering events.

Responsibilities:

Menu Planning and Development: Collaborating with club management and chefs to create menus that cater to the tastes and preferences of club members, ensuring a high level of variety and quality. Food Preparation and Presentation: Overseeing the preparation and presentation of food items to ensure they meet the club's standards for taste, quality, and presentation. Staff Training and Development: Training and mentoring culinary staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to consistently deliver high-quality food and service. Inventory Management: Managing inventory levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize cost efficiency and profitability. Event Planning and Execution: Planning and coordinating special events, private parties, and member functions, including menu selection, staffing, and execution. Health and Safety Compliance: Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment for staff and members. Vendor Relations: Establishing and maintaining relationships with food and beverage vendors to ensure quality products and timely delivery.

Qualifications:

Culinary Experience: A strong background in culinary arts, with experience in a variety of culinary techniques and cuisines. Leadership Skills: Proven leadership abilities, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve common goals. Menu Development Expertise: Experience in menu planning and development, with a focus on creating innovative and appealing dishes. Customer Focus: A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and a passion for exceeding customer expectations. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff, management, and club members. Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and adapt to changing circumstances. Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness. Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the demands of the private club and stadium events. Passion for Hospitality: A genuine passion for hospitality and a desire to create memorable experiences for club members and guests. Must be at least 18 years of age. Ability to read, speak and write in English. Ability to lift and transport food and other items weighing up to 30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds. Mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time. Must have two (2) to three (3) years working in a fast paced high-end club, or restaurant.
