General Summary:

Responsible for supporting programs and initiatives that invigorate DART’s culture and employee experience and enliven DART’s engagement ecosystem. Contribute in an impactful manner to an environment where employees, customers and communities related to DART thrive. Position will report to the AVP, Civil Rights.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Create and implement cultural engagement (incl. DEI) programming and initiatives in collaboration with key stakeholders across the company and community.Assist in the establishment and revitalization of employee resource groups (ERGs) including, governance, programming, policies, procedures and metrics.Oversee the planning, management, and successful execution of cultural engagement events and activities.Assist with employee experience learning opportunities.Use data to establish metrics, track, and monitor engagement touchpoints; assist in the development of an engagement dashboard.Analyze data and utilize storytelling techniques to share the story of DART’s engagement impact.Support the DEI Council in its initiatives and develop opportunities to advance DART’s business strategy.Partner with internal and external stakeholders to drive engagement strategy.Promote DART’s brand by partnering with PR, communications, and HR teams on joint activities that align with strategic goals.Draft communication, presentations, and/or reports relating to DART’s cultural engagement efforts.Performs other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Note: An equivalent combination of related education and experience may be substituted for the below stated minimums excluding High School Diploma, GED, Licenses, or Certifications.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a Social Science, Business Administration or related field.Four (4) years of relevant work experience in Cultural Engagement, Employee Engagement, Diversity, Change Management or a related field, with experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.Proficiency of PC software applications to include Microsoft Office or other related software applications, with a focus on PowerPoint for executive-ready presentations and a high proficiency in Excel for reporting purposes.Pass a physical (medical) examination that includes a drug screen in order to operate DART non-revenue vehicles.Oral, facilitation, and project management skills.High analytical and presentation skills.Detail-oriented and highly organized.Demonstrable knowledge of trends and best practices in engagement, inclusion, diversity, equity and belongingAbility to identify opportunities for improvement and implement/suggest a solution.Ability to demonstrate awareness and understanding of multiple dimensions of diversity: race, ethnicity, gender, socioeconomic, generation, sexual orientation, disability, linguistic, professional, and other differences that make us unique.Ability to engage many diverse stakeholders and SMEs and obtain their buy-in.Thoughtful and empathetic person who puts the employee experience front and center.Curiosity and desire for understanding of what motivates and inspires employee participation and engagement.Ability to think innovatively and act independently using sound judgment.Ability to be dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers. WORKING CONDITIONS:

Works in an environment where there is minimum exposure to dust, noise, or temperature. May be moderately exposed to unpleasant working conditions to include dust, noise, temperature, weather, petroleum products, and chemicals while visiting DART's operating facilities, assuming incumbent is observing all policies and procedures, safety precautions and regulations, and using all protective clothing and devices provided.
