Summary – This position will play a supporting role in our organization by providing exceptional facilitation and administrative support to the culture, engagement, and onboarding teams. This position will facilitate programs and initiatives, events, and manage details each day with the ultimate mission of delivering the best experience for our employees. Delegate responsibilities to on-site staff during events in the absence of management. This position will be responsible for physically procuring items for events and will occasionally need to transport items to Warren location. On most days, this position will be juggling numerous tasks within different projects scopes and will end up re-prioritizing your tasks several times per day. This position will be responsible for project managing events and initiatives and ensuring that timelines are met, and budget is adhered to. This position requires a high energy, positive, can-do attitude with exceptional organizational and communication skills. In the absence of this position, the work will be divided amongst the team. Essential Duties:Facilitate Orientation for Fall River and Warren new hires.Support onboarding processes by partnering with hiring managers and administrative team to ensure new employees are properly welcomed and immersed in culture.Create collateral using Canva to help communicate events and initiatives.Collaborate with departments across Blount to meet their employee recognition and experience needs and assist with implementing people recognition initiatives valued across the organization at all levels and ongoing ownership.Develop program and resources that empower teams and individuals to meaningfully engage at work. Organize virtual and in-person training to promote employee engagement and help employees feel connected and are related to company culture.Partner with leaders across the company to plan and execute volunteer opportunities. Build a high degree of operational excellence and focus on opportunities that are impactful and a pillar of our employer brand.Ideate & Support employee events, touchpoints, projects, and experiences.Partner with our communications team to drive engagement and pride across the company. Research venues, vendors, and negotiate price/contractsResponsible for daily briefings, arranging meetings, conferences, and calendar managementActively engage with employees and lead as a source of hospitality.Support Executive Support team as necessary for special projects.Efficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, UKG, Workplace and Canva.Design, implement and oversee the employee experience considering the purpose and goals of the organization while promoting Blount as an employer of choice.Act as a Culture Champion engaging with all levels of employees.Generate presentations summarizing impact and progress on engagement initiatives to communicate findings to relevant stakeholders. Provide front desk coverage when necessaryAssist with ad-hoc projects that further enhance the employee and customer experience.
