Culture & Internal Communications Analyst
**Company** Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago As the Culture & Internal Communications Analyst, you will be responsible for the development, implementation and administration of communication strategies and programs to inform, educate and engage staff for Administrative Services, which includes Facilities, Hospitality Services, Law Enforcement, and Strategic Planning & Support. Your responsibilities will cover internal communications and consultancy, project management, and engagement and strategy of the department’s culture. You will lead and collaborate with department leadership on strategies to enhance communication effectiveness across a variety of communication channels and foster and create cultural and engagement programs to create a cohesive and effective department with a complex 24/7 operation. This position is considered intermediate level and performs work of moderate complexity. You will work under general supervision and may take direction from a senior team member. You will not have any direct reports. **Your Responsibilities:** + Strategizing, writing, and editing content for the department’s communications channels and oversee content on all relevant intranets and platforms. + Lead and implement department internal communications strategy. + Build relationships with teams within the department; develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders, such as other Reserve Banks and vendors. + Provide project management support for department/division internal communication activities, teams, programs, processes, and special projects. + Analyze information and supports development of action plans to advance the department’s culture and employee engagement efforts. Leads the development, management and implementation of culture strategy and initiatives. + Provide communications support to business unit committees (engagement, communication, technology, and wellness). + Continuously evaluate the culture and develop opportunities to increase engagement. + Support training and onboarding of new employees and learning and development initiatives for staff. + Prepare and present conclusions and recommendations, in both written and oral format, concerning moderately complex to complex matters related to culture, strategy, and communications. + Support business unit annual strategic planning and HPI development and support metrics to track internal effectiveness of the business unit strategy. + Execute the business unit change management strategy and act as a resource to senior leaders in spearheading change management initiatives. + Implement communications strategy for major change initiatives and for cascading business unit-wide strategy, leveraging resources across the organization. + Support the management team as a bridge to employee base, including attending regular meetings with leadership. + Execute the business unit communications strategy, which includes: + Managing the business unit messaging, and narrative + SharePoint creation and updates + Newsletters + Ghostwriting + Editorial reviews + Business unit Surveys + Draw on professional experience and expertise to generate ideas for process improvement initiatives and participate in control activities that establish, maintain and validate standards for the functional area. **Your Background:** + Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience + 3+ years of direct, work-related experience + Education and/or experience in English Literature, Business Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or similar field preferred + Strong writing and editorial skills + Critical and independent thinking and decision-making abilities + Strong project management skills + Intermediate analytical and problem solving skills + Strong oral communication and presentation skills + Ability to provide guidance and constructive feedback + Strong teamwork skills and the ability to build and work collaboratively within and across work teams + Ability to manage time and projects effectively by adjusting quickly to new and different priorities + Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office products (SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word) **What We Offer:** + Comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, prescription drug coverage, 401k savings plan, retirement plan, paid time off, transit benefit, onsite gym and subsidized cafeteria + A continuous learning environment with opportunities to gain new skills and grow your career. **Additional Requirements:** + This is a hybrid position requiring a minimum of two days per week in office. + As a condition of employment, Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago employees must comply with the Bank’s ethics rules, which generally prohibit employees, their spouses/domestic partners, and minor children from owning securities, such as stock, of banks or savings associations or their affiliates, such as bank holding companies and savings and loan holding companies.
