POSITION SUMMARY

 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

 

 

KEY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Operate three automatic multiple operation cup forming machines that bend, punch, and roll forms to fabricate

paper cups.

 

Move pallets of pre cut cup forms to the cup forming machines and loads the blanks onto the machine feeder

table.

 

Ensure that the correct product is being run on the machine.

 

Start machine, observes operation, and verifies the quality of the formed cup.

 

Perform quality checks on the cups through visual inspection, and tear testing. Completes the necessary

Paperwork.

 

Practice good housekeeping.

 

Keep work area clean, including floors.

 

Check the oil levels and fills, using the correct oil, as necessary.

 

Move, preposition, and mount the bottom stock roll on the machine.

 

Ensure that the proper size product, and proper size bottom stock are being run on the

machine.

 

Brief the on coming operator on the status of the machine, product being run and any problems encountered

during the shift.

 

Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Obey all safety rules, regulations, and policies.

 

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

 

High school diploma or General Education degree (GED); one or more months related experience and/or

training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Regularly required to stand for long periods; use hands to finger, handle, or feel, objects, tools, or controls.

reach with hands and arms.

 

Good hand -eye coordination is essential.

 

Occasionally required to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

 

Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

 

Regularly push or pull a pallet cart a with 1000 pounds load.

 

Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and normal color vision.

 

Work near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to extreme heat.

 

The noise level is usually loud.
