AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to fill the role of Full-Time Custodial/Environmental Services Worker at Mercer Area Schools in Mercer, PA. This position will work the afternoon shift.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Clean fixtures and furnishings to include dusting, damp wiping, spot cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting Operate mechanical floor cleaners, buffers, vacuums, blowers, shampooers and related environmental service equipment Wet-mop rooms, halls and other areas; shampoos rugs and furniture Clean vents, fan fixtures, top of windows, doorframes and other high areas using a ladder Empty, sanitize, and re-line waste receptacles Move furniture and other heavy objects as required Clean and disinfect all fixtures, floors, mirrors, windows, doors and walls of bathrooms

Requirements:

This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, kneeling, stooping, and crouching Previous environmental services experience preferred Strong work ethic Effective verbal and written communication skills
