Description Position at SBM Management

SBM Management is currently looking to hire a Custodial Lead to join their team!  The Custodial Lead has responsibilities for overseeing activities within the assigned program. This includes the company employees and other temporary employees engaged in the program.  Program could be custodial, clean room, recycle, moves, and maintenance. Adhere to, implement, and demonstrate safe work practices and procedures.                                

Responsibilities                                

Perform janitorial duties Perform all duties listed on the daily scheduleProvide work direction and assistance to custodians as directed by Custodial SupervisorAssist Custodial Supervisor in scheduling and training staff as neededOperate motorized cleaning equipmentTrack equipment inventory, maintenance, and repairSchedule clean up and repairs as neededMaintain daily upkeep of assigned areaTrack and maintain supplies inventoryAssist Custodial Supervisor in purchasing cleaning supplies and equipmentPerform quality, service, and safety inspectionsReport incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisorReport employee personnel and customer issues to supervisorMonitor employees for proper use of personal protective equipment, and suppliesCorrects at risk behavior, then reports to the supervisor immediatelyProvide recommendations for corrective action on areas that need improvement

Qualifications                                

High school diploma / GED required At least 1 year related experience
CPR/AED/First Aid certificationMay be required to have a valid driver’s licenseCompleted all safety and task training certificationMay be required to be forklift certifiedAbility to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documentsStrong verbal and written communication skillsKnowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with teamKnowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipmentKnowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use
Minimum 1 year of custodial experience and jobs in warehouse environmentsShift:
Sun - Wed 6:00AM - 4:30PM
Sun - Wed 6:00PM - 4:30 AM
Wed - Sat 6:00AM - 4:30PM
Wed - Sat 6:00PM - 4:30 AM

Compensation: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
