**Job Title: Custodial Manager** **Job Description** The Custodial Manager will oversee a team of 17-20 unionized custodial employees on a college campus, working Monday to Friday from 2:30 PM to 11:30 PM. The role requires rotating weekend coverage every third week, with two days off during those weeks. The manager will ensure efficient and correct completion of cleaning projects, including common area cleaning, dorm room clean-outs, and floor maintenance. **Responsibilities** + Supervise and manage a team of 17-20 unionized custodial employees. + Address issues among employees or management with a stern approach. + Deploy the team to various campus areas for efficient cleaning impact. + Instruct employees on floor cleaning, waxing, stripping, and carpet cleaning tasks. + Prioritize and manage cleaning projects such as common area cleaning, dorm room clean-outs, and floor maintenance. + Assist with tasks as needed, without performing the custodians' union work. + Focus on managing and supervising to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and correctly. **Essential Skills** + Experience in cleaning and janitorial work. + Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and email. + Bilingual abilities, especially in Spanish, are a plus. + Experience supervising or managing 10+ employees. + Customer relations skills. + Experience in ordering supplies and inventory management. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Hands-on cleaning experience. + Customer-facing cleaning experience for a third-party company. **Why Work Here?** This position offers a unique opportunity to manage a custodial team on a college campus.
