Job Description

Join our team as a Custodian and contribute to maintaining a clean and safe environment for our facility. As a Custodian, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of our building on 1st shift! 7:00AM - 3:30PM

ResponsibilitiesPerform industrial cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies as needed.Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, tables, and windowsills.Maintain cleanliness of common areas, such as hallways and break rooms.Perform floor maintenance tasks as required.Follow established safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).Adhere to cleaning schedules and ensure all assigned areas are properly maintained.Essential SkillsCleaningIndustrial cleaningGeneral laborAttention to detailHousekeepingJanitorialAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience in industrial cleaning is a plus.Work Environment

The work environment can be very wet in some areas and very hot at times. Candidates are allowed to wear shorts and t-shirts to work, and fans run consistently to keep the warehouse cool. The facility is well-lit and large, with multiple departments in different areas. Employees are expected to keep their stations clean at all times.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Davenport, Iowa.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
