Summary This position is for Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR) at Fort Drum, New York. FMWR includes Child and Youth Services, Business Recreation, and Support Services, which enable Soldier readiness, support the resiliency and well-being of Soldiers and Families. Responsibilities Sweeps, mops, vacuums, dusts, scrubs, washes and polishes fixtures and furniture, walls, glass and doors, equipment and furnishings in assigned guest rooms and other areas. Empties trash and restocks room condiments and supplies. Uses a variety of cleaning solutions, chemicals, and cleaning equipment and supplies. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Qualified candidates will possess the following: work experience performing the following duties: dilution and use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions to disinfect items and/or remove different types of stains on varying surfaces; AND use and maintenance of required tools and equipment (e.g. vacuum cleaners, brooms, mops), AND ability to keep your assigned work area neat, clean, and organized, AND good customer service skills, AND ability to stand and walk on hard and carpeted surfaces, AND ability to bend, lift, carry, push, and pull items.
