Summary This position is located at the historic Hacienda, Fort Hunter Liggett, CA. Responsibilities Cleans rooms, corridors, stairways, and common areas. Sweeps, mops, dusts, waxes, vacuums, scrubs, strips and polishes furniture and fixtures. Makes beds and changes linen. Cleans, disinfects and deodorizes bathroom and toilet facilities. Notes condition of room and reports any conditions requiring maintenance or repair. Maintains stock of room condiments and cleaning supplies to perform assigned duties. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Qualifications must be clearly verifiable in your resume. Must have the ability to follow simple instructions. Must be able to use hand or light weight powered cleaning tools and equipment as described; which generally require no prior training or previous work experience. PCS Costs Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest. FWS Allowances and Differentials This is a federal wage schedule (FWS) position. All FWS employees are entitled to overtime work for work in excess of 8 hours in a day or in excess of 40 hours in the administrative workweek, whichever provides the greater benefit to the employee. Regular full-time, regular part-time (to include those in a limited tenure appointment category) and regularly scheduled flexible employees are entitled to Sunday premium pay when working Sunday shifts. A FWS employee will be paid a night shift differential of 7.5% for the entire shift when a majority of the employee's regularly scheduled non-overtime hours of work occur between the hours of 1500 and 2400. A FWS employee will be paid a night shift differential of 10% of the scheduled rate if a majority of the employee's regularly scheduled non-overtime hours of work occur between the hours of 2300-0800. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility. This is a mixed job, designed specifically for smaller NAF activities that required flexibility in employee work assignments. May be assigned to other activities based on mission requirements.
