We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Asset Custodian to join our Branch in Zanzibar. Key responsibilities include:

Ensure adherence to correct procedures for handling and movement of cash assets within the branch, agencies, Central Bank (BOT), and Bulk Cash operations.Serve as custodian for treasury cash, traveller's cheques, blank forms, safe custody items, securities, duplicate keys, ATM keys, and branch stationery.Manage safe custody operations, including logging, revenue recovery, receipt checking, and handling of bank chequebooks and vault lockers.Monitor cash trends, order and clear surplus cash, and ensure cash holdings are within prescribed limits.Control seals for cash clearance bags and assist with surprise checks of tellers.Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all relevant procedures and regulations.
