JOB DETAILS

Base Pay: $17.25 per hour 

2nd Shift: 3:45 pm - 12:15 am

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Custodian performs a variety of general cleaning tasks including, but not limited to sweeping, dust mopping, wet mopping, spot cleaning, trash collection and removal, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning restrooms and replenishing supplies, break rooms.

Follow cleaning schedule and instructions as directed by supervisor, including offices, breakrooms, hallways, restrooms, and other work areasSweep and Mop all assigned areasClean walls and ceilings by washing, wiping, dusting, spot cleaning, disinfecting and deodorizingClean all community toilets, sinks, and countertops; stock with paper towels, toilet paper, and soapEmpties wastebaskets; Transports trash and waste to disposal area.Clean all hallways, stairways, and elevators as necessaryClean employee break area when necessaryEmpty trash in offices and public areasSubmit maintenance work orders of general maintenance concerns and/or problems to the Maintenance ManagerAdheres to all safety procedures in the performance of job dutiesKeep janitor closets and housekeeping supply rooms clean and orderlyPerform other such duties as requested by your manager Qualifications One-year related experience in a similar environment; preferred.High school diploma or its equivalentMust be able to read, write and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job.Ability to establish and maintain working relations with Supervisor, lead, and fellow workersKnowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipmentMust be able to read and follow label instructions on cleaning materialsAbility to operate mechanical cleaning equipmentMust be able to perform duties and responsibilities (essential job functions), with or without reasonable accommodation.Must practice attention to detailMust be flexible to work in an environment that changes quicklyMust be able to work frequently with cleaning chemicalMust be able to successfully pass a background check & drug test.   Additional information
