Job Title: Custodian 

Custodian Pay Range: $18.00

Custodian Schedule: Monday - Friday 5:00am - 1:30pm

Custodian Start Date: ASAP

 

The Custodian position in Standish, ME is responsible for cleaning, stocking restrooms, sweeping, vacuuming, washing floors, collecting trash, setting up for events, assisting with minor repairs,and identifying and responding to safety concerns.  You will have a solid understanding of housekeeping and light maintenance work, with commercial/institutional cleaning experience being a plus.  Successful candidates will have great attention to detail and a positive attitude. This is a full time position. 

Qualifications: 

High School Graduate 1 year of  janitorial experience preferred Team oriented and positive attitude Be organized and have great attention to detail Ability to work professionally and collaboratively with various college personnel as well as outside vendors and students Extraction or refinishing of floors experience is a major plus!
