ABOUT THE ROLE: The Arc Oneida-Lewis Chapter is seeking to add a Custodian to our Facilities Management Department! In this position you would be responsible for ensuring that the building is properly cleaned daily and is left in a secure manner at the end of the day. You would work closely with the Custodian Coordinator to perform all necessary cleaning tasks. Schedule/Hours + Monday - Friday, 3:30 to 11 PM, No holidays or weekend! Qualifications: + High School Diploma or GED and 1 year experience in a custodial field + Valid NYS Driver's License Responsibilities : + Perform floor stripping, waxing and buffing as scheduled. + Clean offices, restrooms and hall daily as scheduled. + Supervise and assist building custodians where appropriate. + Instruct custodian I on proper usage of cleaning chemicals and machinery where appropriate. + Maintain and order supplies as needed. + Secure building at the end of the work day. + Report all damages to building to immediate supervisor. + Coordinate and schedule inspections, etc. of building and cleaning procedures.
