The custodian I will be responsible for the custodial cleaning activities in bioMerieux SLC administrative areas.
The custodian I will be responsible for the custodial cleaning activities in bioMerieux SLC administrative areas.
Primary Duties:
Cleaning:
Proper removal of trash and other waste streams ensuring all waste is properly disposed.Cleaning floors, walls, touch surfaces, glass, hallways, restrooms, break rooms, equipment, outdoor/indoor common areas, cafeterias etcOther duties as assigned.
Administrative duties:
Report any facility or safety concerns to Supervisor.

Must have reliable transportation
Training and Education:
-High School Diploma or GED and custodial experience is preferred as well as clean room experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.High attention to detail and follow through.Receive and follow verbal/written instructions and communicate effectively.Demonstrate effective team work with all staff.Ability to follow job assignments completely and efficiently.Ability to operate custodial equipment such as vacuum cleaners and buffers.Basic Computer email and data entry skills.Knowledge of SDS (Safety Data Sheets), cleaning products and their methods of use.Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of diverse people, ability, culture, ethnic background, to maintain good working relationships throughout the company.
Working and Physical requirements:
Ability to remain in stationary position, often standing, for prolonged periods. Ability to ascend/descend stairs, ladders, ramps, and the like.Ability to wear PPE correctly most of the day.Must be able to pick up and carry up to 40 lbs.The position may require standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.BioFire Diagnostics, LLC. is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
