To provide cleaning services and maintenance assistance for Salvation Army building.

Employee will work 25 hours a week. Regular daily schedule is from 8:00 am to 1:00 PM. Schedule could be adjusted temporarily due to weather or other events.

Responsibilities Daily empty trash from all rooms and place in dumpsterMake sure the front door is open at 9:00 m.Sweep and mop all hard floor surfaces on daily basisWash all glass surface as neededDust and/or wash all tables and desks on daily basis Clean restroom fixtures, floors, and partitions daily Disinfect restroom floors dailyReplace paper supplies and soap in restrooms as neededDo snow removal and salting as neededKeep back driveway clear of any debris as Pick up outside building dailyVacuum all carpeted areas dailySet up rooms as neededWash walls and doors as neededChange light bulbs as neededPerform other light maintenance as neededStrip and wax floors as neededKeep Janitorial Room and sheds clean and in Buff floors as neededMake sure Chapel is ready for church services FridayHelp Load and upload the donations as Must keep inventory of Janitorial supplies and let Corps Commanding Officers know when to purchase more supplies.Must keep inventory of the corps utility tools and keep janitor and utility room in The Part Time Custodian is responsible to the Corps Commanding Officers to perform any additional assignments under their directionThe Salvation Army has the right to modify, delete or add to this job description  Qualifications Must be able to do heavy liftingMust have a valid New York State Driver's License with clean driving recordMust have prior maintenance experienceMust have completed High School or Must have basic knowledge of tools and maintenance routines Options Apply for this job onlineApplyShareEmail this job to a friendRefer Sorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
