What you’ll do:
We are looking for a responsible Custodian who can keep our facility clean. The Custodian is responsible for keeping a running inventory of all cleaning supplies and submitting purchase requests when supplies get low.
Responsibilities:
Respond for urgent calls to clean up non-toxic spills and debris. Use cleaning supplies and equipment to keep the interior of the facility looking clean and professional Adhere to the company's safety policies and maintain a safe work environment Perform routine cleaning tasks based on the facility management schedule Maintain floors in a clean state by sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, and waxing them Empty and clean trash receptacles and collect recycling Clean and service custodial equipment as needed Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions Ability to lift and carry up to 60 poundsCandidate Qualifications / Requirements:
Applicant must have a minimum 2+ years of experience with a high school diploma or GED. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and may meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information; Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.Abilities:
Lifts at least 100 pounds at one time and 60 pounds for an extended period of time. Relocates a 12 foot stepladder without assistance. Works at various heights up to 60 feet and can climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks and all types of ladders. Walks, climbs, lifts, squats, crawls, kneels, pushes, pulls and reaches overhead on a routine and repetitive basis. Possess good vision (may be corrected vision), the ability to see in color, and the ability to hear and communicate in English. May use a standard ladder without exceeding the weight limit while carrying tools. Tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem. Apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense. Combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions (including finding a relationship among seemingly unrelated events). See details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
