Custom Design Studio Project ManagerPosition Overview
Primary Responsibilities:
Serve as the centralized communication point for all CDS projects initiated by Account Managers/Clients to ensure that team members receive timely and appropriate project information.
Identify and communicate roles and responsibilities at the beginning of all projects to ensure deliverables and timelines have been established correctly on the front end of the project.
Prioritize, expedite and escalate projects accordingly. Leverage resources within CDS when needed.
Frequent client interactions to manage expectations and communicate project status. Could include project kick off calls and status update calls as warranted.
Effectively train and guide Account Managers on submitting the project requests. Additionally, communicate with clients to ensure expected outcomes are effectively driven through our project management process.
Review and confirm that the project brief is complete with all necessary specification and design details for the custom opportunity in Salesforce. Using this technical knowledge, the project manager ensures the project can be successful to provide a great customer and associate experience.
Manages the team’s activities by clearly defining the objectives and expected outcomes.
Verify new PO’s to ensure the order is accurate to the final approved work completed by the team.
Serves as the main point of contact amongst various departments such as: CAD Team, Sample Manufacturing, PO Verification team, Specification Team, Rug Team, Customer Service, Production Manufacturing, .
Work closely with the Functional Manager regarding staff and resources required to successfully complete projects.
Identify off target budget and selling expenses. Consult with Senior Project Managers to address budgetary concerns with Account Managers.

Preferred Qualifications: (Experience and/or skills that are preferred of a candidate for this role)
Design and Estimating Experience within the Carpet industry
Ability to read architectural plans
3-5 years Previous project management experience
Auto Cad experience
Texcelle experience
