The Stone Setting department is responsible for polishing, engraving, plating, and setting stones, demanding high dexterity, concentration, and attention to detail to ensure the quality of each piece.

The Stone Setting Manager oversees and manages daily operations in the Stone Setting department to maintain an efficient workflow and team development, under the leadership of the Sr CAM Manufacturing Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct monthly coaching sessions with team members to provide guidance, support, and skill development.Complete performance reviews for team members every six months to evaluate and enhance their skills.Manage daily payroll processing for the department.Communicate with department’s coordinator regularly to provide updates on the team’s production status and address any issues.Implement and monitor departmental changes, ensuring the team is informed and aligned.Ensure high levels of concentration and attention to detail are met to maintain product quality.

Basic Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalentProficiency in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Teams, Word, ExcelStrong organization, communication, and interpersonal skillsProven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a teamAbility to maintain a positive work environment and effectively manage workflowDemonstrated proficiency in tasks requiring manual dexterity and close-range detail observation.

Preferred Qualifications:

Understanding of LEAN manufacturing and/or the Shingo ModelKnowledge of jewelry and jewelry manufacturing processes
