We are currently seeking a Custom Order Specialist to join the fastest growing jewelry company in the country. This job will be located in New York City and the position will be based in a fast-paced environment with multiple requests coming in on a daily basis. Responsibilities + Responsible for accurately submitting/verifying custom orders with vendors within a specified time-frame + Oversee the Special/Custom Order Process start to finish + Calculate and quote prices + Interact with both the vendors and the customers on a regular basis + Checks the status of orders, maintains quoted time frames, and handles any potential issues Requirements + Must have 1+ yrs jewelry industry experience + Must have 1+ yrs of experience with custom jobs + Must have basic understanding of placing CAD requests with designers, vendors and knowledge of reading CAD to get cost for pieces + Must be able to pass knowledge assessment during interview process + Must be able to respond to customer inquiries outside of normal business hours, if necessary + Excellent communication skills + Knowledgeable in Excel + Knowledgeable in Photoshop + Ability to work well with a team of diverse personalities + Knowledge of jewelry manufacturing a plus + Must be able to travel to shows a minimum of three times per year + Must Live in New York Tri-State area What We Offer We offer an amazing culture!
