What We Need: The Quoting Manager provides new and existing customers with the best possible service in relation to quoting requests. These requests are for both stock and custom parts. Leading the quoting division of the Customer Experience department this person will help lead the vision of the future for the quoting process. What You'll Be Doing: + Lead a team of quoting supervisors and quoting specialists, providing guidance, training, and mentorship. + Set performance expectations, conduct regular performance reviews, and foster a positive and collaborative team environment. + Oversee the entire quoting process, from initial inquiry to final quote submission. + Ensure quotes are accurate, complete, and delivered within established timelines. + Review and approve complex or high-value quotes. + Continuously evaluate and improve quoting processes and procedures. + Implement technology solutions to streamline quoting workflows and increase efficiency. + Identify and address bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the quoting process. + Work closely with sales, engineering, operations, and finance teams to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment. + Participate in cross-functional initiatives to improve overall company performance. What You Will Need To Be Successful: + Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. + 5+ years of experience in a quoting or sales operations role. + 2+ years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role. + Strong leadership and team management skills. + Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. + Proficiency in quoting software and CRM systems. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. + Salesforce and SAP background preferred + Knowledge of our industry and products/services is a plus. + Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards About Us: Who we are:Brady makes products that make the world a safer and more productive place.
