Our client, a leader in the healthcare industry, is seeking a Patient Financial Navigator & Customer Care Advocate to join their team. As a Patient Financial Navigator & Customer Care Advocate, you will be part of the Customer Care department supporting patients and healthcare providers. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title: Patient Financial Navigator & Customer Care Advocate**
**Location: Remote**
**Pay Range: $22 per hour**
**What's the Job?**
+ Answer inbound calls in a high-volume Contact Center, providing support and financial guidance to patients and providers.
+ Make outbound calls to discuss out-of-pocket costs and payment options with patients.
+ Investigate and verify patient insurance benefits, updating records with complete patient and insurance information.
+ Provide estimates of potential patient responsibility based on benefits coverage.
+ Document all interactions in Salesforce or other Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
**What's Needed?**
+ High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree or relevant healthcare experience preferred.
+ 2-3 years of experience in health insurance, benefits investigations, reimbursement, or medical billing and coding.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on excellent customer service.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
+ Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
