Position Summary: 

The Customer Business Analyst for Munchkin supports the Sales and Marketing Teams by developing and maintaining category-selling presentations and analyzing programs to meet account performance objectives. The position will employ multiple data resources including IRI, BI Tool TABS, and customer-specific reports, to proactively identify segment trends, competitive trends, and Munchkin growth opportunities.

How you will contribute: 

Use IRI, internal, and customer-specific data to support Sales in proactively identifying segment trends, competitive trends, category strategy, and growth opportunities Research category, shopper, consumer, and industry data to develop impactful insights and identify opportunities Provide in-depth analysis to determine category strategy and opportunities for Sales team Develop account presentations to assist direct account teams in achieving sales objectives Sample presentations include SKU optimization, Brand optimization, and Category Performance, among others Develop regular Category Management-focused insights materials, including Category reviews, competitor evaluations, and channel strategies, among other insight reports Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Sales and Marketing to ensure internal stakeholders and external clients are up to date on current data offerings. Perform other duties as assigned

You will have: 

3+ years of experience in category management or customer development Demonstrate strong experience with financial, syndicated data, and general business analyses Exhibit experience dealing with the issues and processes involved in selling to retail Proficient using syndicated data (IRI, Nielsen, etc.) Possess experienced-level skills in Excel and PowerPoint, including the ability to perform complex functions, with strong spreadsheet abilities being important Mastered strong problem-solving and analytical skills using both quantitative and qualitative techniques Have the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, analytic environment Excel at motivating and persuading many types of people, with a strong comfort level in presenting to small and large groups Display strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet timelines

Salary range: $75,000 - $85,000 annually
