Customer Care Representative and Lot Checker
**Overview** Ensure all paid/unpaid vehicles at all lot locations are accounted for and communicated with as needed. Assist in the Customer Care Center and Parking Ramps as a secondary duty. **Responsibilities** 1. Inspect parking lots in an assigned area to ensure compliance with parking regulations and maintenance standards. 2. Comfortable with the use of all current and future technology. Training to be provided in the use of all company devices related to the position. 3. Display exemplary customer service skills in all duties. 4. Assist in the positive resolution of any issues that our customers face in our scope of responsibilities. 5. Answer intercom calls/phone calls, operate the automatic gate system from the CCC, and respond to all customer emails. 6. Assist with the regular functions of the CCC, printing validations, preparing/printing daily reports, and signing in/out pay station keys. 7. Other duties as assigned. **Duties and Expectations** Working Hours and Reporting for Duty 1. Possess scheduling flexibility in assigned shifts and times according to the business demands. 2. Wear only approved uniform and comply with dress code, wearing items that are clean and in good repair. Visibly wear your name badge at all times. 3. Start your shift on time, well rested and ready to work. 4. Expect that shift and break times are flexible and may be interrupted by business or customer needs. 5. Must be able to read, speak and write the English language. 6. Must have a valid Minnesota Driver’s License. 7. Must have basic computer skills in Microsoft based systems. **Service Excellence** 1. Apply service excellence techniques in your conduct with both guests and coworkers. 2. Quickly and appropriately work with all customer issues utilizing empathy, patience, and concern; take responsibility for the resolution. Seek appropriate assistance to help in the resolution if needed. 3. Work smoothly and effectively within the team; supervisors, peers and subordinates. 1. Evaluate proper general functionality of all devices and systems installed at location **Operations, Inspection & Reporting** 1. Responsible for the smooth, efficient operation of the assigned facility, including all day-to-day functions. 1. Know all standard operating procedures and how to implement them, but always strive to seek better ways to accomplish essential tasks. Provide suggestions for improving procedures to your supervisor. 1. Respond quickly to all emergencies within the ramp by contacting 911 for life-threatening situations, the Security Control Center for other assistance and/or the supervisor. 1. Develop a functional knowledge of all parking equipment to include but not limited to: 1. Evaluate and effectively troubleshoot malfunctions and take necessary action to correct in timely manner 2. Perform basic repairs or maintenance of the equipment 1. Understand the function, use, and operations of the equipment used on the job and in the parking system. 1. Take immediate corrective action to satisfactorily address any unacceptable conditions related to safety hazards, housekeeping, etc. 1. Complete all appropriate reports in clear, understandable writing and submit them in timely fashion to appropriate supervisor. **Other duties as assigned:** you should be prepared to help with any reasonable task directed of you by your supervisor.
