About the Role As a Customer Care Representative II, you will be responsible for directly selling and supporting aftermarket products and services for machine tools and support equipment. This includes generating new business by following up on inbound leads, developing new opportunities, qualifying customer needs, and recommending the right products and services to create exceptional customer satisfaction. You’ll also support our Customer Experience Center (CEC), collaborate with sales and service teams, and ensure seamless operations that enhance customer engagement and drive growth. Key Responsibilities Customer Engagement & Support Provide administrative support to the Customer Experience Center. Meet and greet customers and team members visiting the CEC. Respond to customer inquiries via telephone, email, or chat to resolve non-technical issues. Analyze customer needs, referring complex issues to appropriate service or technical teams. Use customer relationship applications or databases to record interactions and research product information. Communicate order status updates and proactively address delays. Sales Development Develop and implement sales campaigns to promote new offerings and increase orders. Reengage aftermarket customers to grow share of wallet. Work with sales and service department managers to support new and existing sales opportunities. Identify customer needs based on purchase history and propose cost-saving solutions that enhance revenue. Build rapport with customers, provide technical information when possible, and prepare detailed quotations. Track interactions and results using CRM and ERP systems. Event and Logistical Support Support events scheduled at the CEC and manage logistical activities as needed. Continuous Learning Stay up to date by studying new product descriptions and participating in internal system training to enhance functional proficiency in equipment technology. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Industry Experience : Prior experience in machine tool or service environments. Analytical Thinking : Intermediate ability to analyze complex problems and recommend solutions. Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills. Collaboration : High-level interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams and with customers. Adaptability : Calm under pressure and able to thrive in a dynamic environment. Organization : Self-starter with excellent organizational skills and a goal-oriented mindset. Customer Service : Passionate about building strong customer relationships and providing outstanding service. Technical Proficiency : Basic understanding of production operations, with a willingness to learn and grow. Language Skills : Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus. Requirements Education : High school diploma or equivalent. Experience : 3-5 years of related experience in customer care or sales. Physical Ability : Able to lift up to 30 lbs. Technical Skills : Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Salesforce, Epicor, or Microsoft Great Plains is a plus. Why Join Us?
