**Position Summary:**
The Customer Collections Analyst at Thermo Fisher Scientific offers a rare opportunity to engage in a pivotal role within our Finance team. This ambitious position focuses on optimizing collections processes and ensuring an outstanding accounts receivable position through data-driven strategies and collaboration.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Prepare accurate weekly, biweekly, and ad hoc reports; maintain dashboards to track collections and cash flow performance.
+ Data Analysis: Perform account-level analyses to identify risks, trends, and discrepancies; recommend resolutions and process improvements.
+ Lead the customer collections process for a strategic group of accounts by applying data analytics, conducting research, and collaborating with internal groups to maintain a strong accounts receivable position.
+ Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies, recommend solutions, and assist in implementing tools to streamline workflows.
+ Drive culture of continuous improvement.
**Education/Experience**
+ Minimum Required Education: HS Diploma/ GED
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance preferred.
+ 4-5+ Years of experience in a related role.
+ Experience in CFORIA, PowerBI, Excel, etc.
+ Strong knowledge of GAAP.
+ Experience with ERP General Ledger and Excel.
