Customer Delivery Specialist I
Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company, has an immediate need for a Customer Delivery Specialist I to join its logistics team located in Ellwood City. You’ll be responsible for providing customer delivery of chemicals. As a DOT driving professional, you’ll safely operate a diesel, multi-geared bobtail truck/pup and/or tractor- trailer combination vehicle over congested city highways, rolling and mountainous terrain and rural roads. In addition, you’ll provide preventative maintenance of any type of vehicle used to deliver chemicals to customers, plants and warehouse locations.

Safely operate vehicles to include (not limited to) delivery trucks, tank trunks, over-the-road trucksRoute starting in Ellwood City, PA and running to Leominster, MA, Chicago, IL, and Cleveland, OH and determined by business. Package/Dry Van Delivery of Hazmat and Acrylic products.55 – 56 hours per week on average.Load trailers and schedule daily runs to meet customer delivery requirementsMaintain truck and equipment in a safe and operable condition at all times by performing daily and periodic mechanical and safety inspectionsResponsible for accurate up-to-date delivery location maps, and operates in accordance with DOT regulations governing the transportation of hazardous materials in accordance with homeland security requirements and guidelinesMaintain driver's hours of service by using an electronic logging device and paper log book reportingMaintain regular communication with sales and supervisor in order to report field problems and/or safety hazardsWear appropriate safety gear at all times during delivery operationsKeep current on safety techniques and take advantage of all opportunities to improve driving and safety skillsRecognize and avoid safety hazards in the work environmentInside Delivery, \"Dock Drop-offs\", TLM Maintenance, Loading Trucks, Pre-Trips and Post-Trips, Equipment Inventory and Supply OrderingNalco Water is committed to seeing you succeed and provides innovative training programs to ensure you’re prepared to solve any customer problem.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalentPossess a current Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)Hazmat and Tanker EndorsementsAbility to deliver Internationally.2 years of commercial driving experience2 years of an acceptable motor vehicle recordWilling to travel M-F, home on weekends and holidaysHave the ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.Safety - Follows all rules/procedures, utilizes Stop Work Authority, Reports all incidentsNo immigration sponsorship offered for this rolePreferred Qualifications:
