Customer Development Manager for Goodyear passenger car and light truck tires plays a crucial role in building and nurturing long-term relationships with customers to maximize our business growth in the Netherlands ((with office in Nieuwegein).
Your Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers. Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, feedback, support needs and develop and execute strategies for increasing customer loyalty. Collaborate with sales, product management, marketing and finance teams to ensure customer needs are met and exceeded. Develop and implement account plans for key customers, identifying growth opportunities and potential risks. Work closely with Head of Sales to align customer development strategies with overall company objectives. Provide insights into customer preferences, trends and challenges. Analyze customer data and feedback to identify patterns, opportunities for improvement, and new business prospects. Provide regular reports to management on sales metrics and identify cross-sell or upsell opportunities. Develop and track KPIs to assess the success of customer development initiatives. Ensure new customers are effectively onboarded, with proper training and support. Provide ongoing education and resources to help customers maximize the value of our products.
To Join Our Team You Need:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred). Experience in customer development, account management, or a related field (typically 3-5 years). Experience in B2B environments. Background in customer retention, growth, and relationship-building strategies. Strong problem-solving abilities and proactive approach to customer needs. Experience with MS Office tools, CRM software and data analytics tools (e.g. Power BI, MS Excel). Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively. Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering excellent service. Self-driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Travel for client meetings or industry events (driver license is required). Hybrid is available depending on company policies.
