As the **Customer Development Manager** for Albertsons, you will be the primary influencer to the customer to grow sales, increase the share of market, improve services, and identify supply chain efficiencies. This position is about achieving sales goals through relationship management, communicating our corporate and brand strategies, understanding customer objectives and strategy, and ultimately ensuring maximum profitability. You'll develop and present business plans and understand and refine plan implications and customer input, so we can grow through increased market share and financial return. ** _This role can be based out of Chicago, Dallas or Boise. Candidates located within those areas are encouraged to apply. **_ **What you will do** + Identify areas of opportunity for products and programs, develop Customer Marketing strategies that incorporate consumer insights, and have an awareness of competitor activity to create promotional strategies + Establish partnerships with multiple parties including internal cross-functional teams, brokers, and the customer retail team + Seek opportunities to improve and seek creative solutions by adapting and adjusting the strategy with the customer, revisiting objectives and gaining insights from pre and post evaluation and ROI analyses + Understand business trends in each account through fact-based analysis to include brand share, pricing, promotion levels, and trade class development along with understanding the effectiveness of different investment levers **Basic Qualifications** + Bachelor's Degree + 5+ years of experience in sales roles or adjacent experiences + P&L management experience + Solid understanding and experience working with syndicated service account (Nielsen, IRI) **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience working in consumer product goods + Previous experience working with Albertsons and their synidacated data source, Symphony + Ability to navigate through ambiguity + Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite (i.e, Sheets, Slides, Docs) **Compensation and Benefits** Salary Range $94,000.00 - $133,000.00 USD Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles. Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year).
