Customer Experience Engagement Manager

 

The Opportunity: Contribute To The Growth Of Your Career.

The Customer Experience Engagement Manager builds strategies for impactful touchpoints with Associates and leaders in line with TJX vision. This includes planning and implementation of all annual conferences and leadership recognition events across TJ Maxx and Marshalls. Responsibilities include management of a significant budget, curation of interactive experiences, and creation of a learning plan and collateral. Also in charge of capturing input from all relevant collaborators, crafting detailed proposals to outline the vision, and driving strategies and events. Serves as a primary inspiring leader, consultant, and subject matter expert in areas of responsibility.

Responsibilities:

Develops strategic vision, strategy, and project planning for all in-person and virtual engagements for the internal customer.Uses surveys and data, seeks input from collaborators to assess leadership training requirements, and creates a learning plan. Works with the Training & Communication team to put the plan into action.Leverages existing technology and partners with IT and Digital personnel to take an omni channel approach to field engagement.Collaborates with Zone and Region leadership and Home Office partners in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Inclusion & Diversity, Loss Prevention, Marketing, Community Relations, Meeting Planning, Global Communication, and Legal to establish agreement on planning and projects, share progress updates, assist in content creation, and ensure alignment across functions.Identifies location, themes, and vision and presents to partners.Ensures high quality and timely delivery of key results.Innovates recognition approach for annual awards and leads the execution of all awards and celebrations throughout the fiscal year.Identifies, socializes, and engages keynote speakers to support the TJX vision and enhance the conference experience.Partners with core Home Office partners (e.g., Meeting Planning, Marketing, L&D) and vendors to deliver an impactful event experience (hotel site, menu, networking events, delivery of materials onsite, design collateral such as logos, signage, PPT, gifts and awards).Attends all relevant property and site visits. Assists in reviewing contract terms and conditions with Store Ops AVP for approval.Works together with other Store Operations workstreams (e.g., Training and Communication) to integrate takeaways by including extra touchpoints throughout the year.Actively owns the project plan to measure progress and respond proactively to any obstacles. Supports the creation of Senior Leadership talking points and Powerpoint presentations.Surveys market and industry trends in the conference, leadership education, and Associate recognition space to identify new and innovative ways to provide an impactful experience to Associates and Field leaders.Leads projects and events to budget and follow-ups with key partners to debrief. Hires, trains, and develops Associates, providing coaching and performance management as needed.Establishes and maintains a positive Associate relations environment; facilitates open communication amongst team and supervisors to build trust and effective teamsOther duties and responsibilities as needed.

 

 

Who We Are Looking For: You.

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience planning large scale events or trainings.Project management and event planning experienceExperience leading teams directly and indirectlyEvent planning certification preferred Travel 10-15% attendance at Field events and celebrationsExcellent written and verbal communication and presentation skillsFacilitative, collaborative, and agile work styleStrong ability to build relationships, networks and informally influence. Creative and innovative thinkingProficiency in Excel, Word, and Canva or other graphic design software tools

This position has a starting salary range of $90,200 to $115,200 per year.

Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

This position is eligible for an annual incentive as well as long-term incentives.
