Customer (Food) Service Aide Full-Time Days
**Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** Day Shift **Description:** **Position Purpose:** Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, ID is hiring a Customer Service Aide to support the Food and Nutrition Services Department. The position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by taking patient meal orders, interfacing with department technology and assuring quality of the food to maximize positive patient experiences. The Customer Service Aide answers telephone and takes meal orders by using a wireless computer (tablet). Receives physician-ordered diet through PowerChart/CBORD interface and sends meal order within the ordered diet. Takes patient orders and inputs into CBORD. Serves food trays to patients, verifies correctness of meal ticket, and performs customer service to exceed guests’ satisfaction. Assists patients with tray table and opening packaged food items. Checks back with patient when meal is finished to record intake and complete customer service process. Removes tray from room and returns soiled holdings to kitchen. **Position Highlights and Benefits:** + Schedule Information: This position will be scheduled for 36 hours a week on 12- hour shifts from around 7am to around 7pm.
