  OVERVIEW: 

The Customer Interaction Specialist will execute all processes in relation to the acquisition, documentation, and resolution of Biodesix Inc.’s customer interactions across all business units. With the support of the Quality Systems Manager and the Customer Interaction team lead(s), the Customer Interaction Specialist I will ensure that all customer complaints are documented, investigated, and closed timely.  This position will be responsible for assisting with reporting applicable metrics in cross-department meetings such as Laboratory Action Board, Manufacturing Action Board, and Quality Review Board.  Additionally, this position will perform Honest Broker functions on an as-needed basis to ensure accurate and timely delivery of results to applicable business partners. 


RESPONSIBILITIES: Day-to-day processing of customer interactions from both external and internal sources.   Ensures complaints are investigated in a uniform and timely manner and are documented upon receipt using good documentation practices (GDP).  Collaborating cross functionally with other Biodesix Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and external parties to gather additional information required for complaints and customer interactions as applicable.  Assists with generating and reporting customer interaction metrics at quality metric review meetings.  Escalating interactions that require medical device reporting (US/EU) assessment and investigation.  Assessment of current workflow processes performed by this position and optimization of applicable workflows.  Creation and updating of applicable standard operating procedures (SOP)s related to this position.  Supporting of audit activities, both external and internal.  Providing education and assistance to the organization regarding the customer interaction process.  Acts within the Honest Broker function for data review and delivery for partnership projects.  Other duties, as needed.
