Customer Marketing Director

Job Description:

Location: Slough [Hybrid]

 
You will be responsible for establishing and driving the Customer Marketing agenda at a UKI level: leading and building a highly motivated and effective team, as well as leading deployment of the i) integrated business plan and ii) capability agenda.

You will lead the Customer Marketing agenda internally and externally and will be expected to provide thought leadership and in-store leadership grounded in sustainable long-term partnerships, as well as support the capabilities of the total team to deliver best in class customer experience and communication.

As a key member of the Sales Leadership Team you will play a critical part in developing and executing the units’ demand strategy to evolve the category and to drive profitable growth with our customers
 

What are we looking for?

Significant customer marketing, category and/or customer experience with a demonstrated ability to develop strong and impactful category solutions and customer relationships of all sizes.Proven experience in successfully leading and deploying category growth solutions with diverse customers/channels.Strong track record of developing and executing insight led plans with the ability to inspire and lead a channel team/matrix organisation to deliver results consistently.Experience in creating future looking Capability Development strategy and right toolsPeople leadership of a cross-functional and remote team(s) with demonstrated ability to build capability, develop talent and engage associates.

What will be your key responsibilities?

Accountable for excellent execution of our activity plan, committed volumes and activation standards through sales channel meetingsDrive the Customer Marketing agenda for the unit and be fully responsible for both the strategic and operational day-to-day leadership of the Customer Marketing teamOwn the development of capabilities across One Demand (Sales & Marketing)Leading temporary and permanent display strategy, liaising with Commercial to appoint suppliers and UK supply chain teams to drive efficienciesChampion the voice of customer/shopper within the leadership teams – representing strategic and tactical choices for display/hotspots growth for all customers/channels
