For This Role, You Will Need:
- Hold enlightening meetings with engineers from the Manufacturing area and their staff to present the results of the non-conforming material analysis, discuss the corrective actions that have been implemented, review trend analysis of the main metrics for each area, and collect feedback on any additional problems that may arise.
- Attend and participate in quality system review meetings.
- Coordinate, perform, and supervise internal audits.
- Assist in the calibration and verification processes of test equipment.
- Prepare weekly reports on quality results in areas of responsibility.
- Participate in continuous product quality improvement programs.
- Act as an instructor in training programs (technical and practical) for personnel in the Manufacturing and Quality Control departments.
- Participate in the introduction of new products to the plant care about compliance with quality standards.
- Establish corrective actions based on customer complaints.
- Engage in Six Sigma projects, either as a "Green Belt" or as a team member.
- Visit external suppliers to evaluate their quality systems.
- Review customer specifications to ensure compliance.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Handling the English language with an 90% proficiency degree.
Bachelor of Engineering desirable.
Use of AutoCAD, Mechanical Desktop, SolidWorks or similar
Lean, Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement experience
New Product Introduction, PAP’s, APQP’s, FMEA and similar methodologies
Experience as a manager control of Machining Processes is a plus
Molding, mechanical tooling, casting, stamping, and welding.
ISO 2001:2015 or similar Certification
Document Control
Root Cause Analysis, 8D’s, 5 whys and similar techniques
Lean and Six sigma Techniques (5S, Built in Quality, A3, A4)
Good level of written and spoken English.
Good communication skills.
