Customer Sales Representative
Location: South Kingstown, RI Schedule: Monday - Friday (7am - 4pm) Job Responsibilities & Duties + Staff the sales counter. + Greet and service customers. + Responsible for order entry, sales transactions, and quotes. + Handle stocking, cycle counting, and inventory organization. + Build relationships with internal customers, departments, suppliers, and external customers. + Provide excellent service by greeting, approaching, and assisting customers in a friendly, courteous, and helpful manner. + Manage daily store opening, store closing, and cash drawer procedures. + Ensure stock product availability using the POS system. + Offer installation information, product benefits, and available literature. + Take ownership of entry-level sales assistance, focusing on telephone sales and walk-in traffic through the POS system. + Maintain customer relations and promote the sale of stock products from all profit center areas. + Direct customers to appropriate team members for quotes and special orders. + Stock shelves with daily inventory and perform cycle counts as directed by the manager. + Keep sales materials, catalogs, and brochures current. + Direct customer complaints and concerns to the appropriate management or designated Customer Service Representative. + Gain knowledge of special order and specialty catalogs, both online and printed. + Other duties as assigned.
