Your role: + Service Contact for customers, country offices and sales organizations for 5 divisions of Blood Diagnostic and Diabetes Business within dedicated countries in Europe, Africa, Asia and South America + Provide continuously high-quality customer service in terms of order handling, processing and shipment organization for specified territory + Coordination of air, truck and ocean shipments with internal departments and external partners + Preparation of all necessary documentation from shipping documents, certificates or legalized documents, etc. + Communication and coordination with external 3rd party service providers (e.g. forwarders, governmental entities, inspection companies, embassies, etc.) + Handling of export finance tools such as letter of credits, bank guarantees etc. + Ensure legal export requirements are met such as export restrictions, embargo laws as well as internal policies and procedures + After sales support, complaint handling, exception handling and reporting + Project Support **Who you are:** + Bachelor’s degree in logistics or business administration or vocational qualification with equivalent knowledge acquired through relevant professional experience + Work experience in export business and curiosity in international business relations + Strong customer-oriented mindset with can-do mentality and problem-solving skills + Excellent organizational, planning and decision-making skills to coordinate cross-functional processes + Agile mindset with ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced global environment + System aptitude and SAP knowledge preferred + Firm logistical forwarder knowledge to handle all areas of transportation + Basic knowledge on tax, customs, trade requirements and export finance tools (e.g. letter of credit) + Fluent communication skills in English (verbal & written); German desirable + Proficient in MS Office applications in Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint + Self-motivated Team Player Follow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
