The Role
The Shop Sales Agent assists in various functions throughout the shop (aka terminal); including customer service, cash management, baggage duties, presentation and cleanliness of the terminal and buses, and overall customer experience from beginning to end.
Responsibilities:
Directing customers throughout their time at the shop, assisting with correct loading areas, trip connections, etc. Provides schedule, routing, transfer, and current fare information to customers. Updates travel documents, schedule monitors, information boards, etc.; including PA system announcements. Runs ticket transactions with customers as well as baggage support; including service calls and phone sales, loading/unloading baggage, etc. Responsible for shipping duties; including calculating shipping costs, forwarding/receiving shipments, package/baggage tracking, etc. Assists with required shop reporting and documentation; including bus bills, inventory, End-of-Shift reports, bus servicing records, etc. Scheduling and coordinating bus fuelings, cleanings, fuel and lavatory dumps, etc. Assists with overall shop presentation, including monitoring cleanliness, lost and found items, etc.Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required 1+ year of customer service experience preferred Cash handling experience Ability to handle packages and bags weighing up to 100 lbs Good problem solving and decision-making ability Strong communication skills Spanish fluency a plus
