Description We are on the lookout for a proficient Customer Service Associate to join our team in the manufacturing industry, located in San Leandro, California. As our Customer Service Associate, your focus will be on managing customer inquiries, processing their applications, and maintaining precise records. You will also be tasked with monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently manage and resolve customer inquiries
• Process customer applications in a timely and accurate manner
• Maintain detailed and up-to-date customer records
• Continuously monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions
• Ensure all customer-related tasks are handled with utmost attention to detail
• Assist in creating customer reports and managing order processes
• Support team members with their requests efficiently and promptly
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for various tasks
• Develop and maintain good relationships with customers and team members
• Show reliability and commitment in delivering your tasks on time. Requirements • Proven experience in a customer service role within the manufacturing industry
• Demonstrable knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
• Proficiency in using computer software such as Microsoft Office and customer relationship management systems
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures
• Ability to handle complaints and difficult situations in a detail oriented manner
• High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree from a business school will be considered a plus.
