Responsibilities Promptly answer calls and emails in a professional manner from customers placing orders or requesting information on technical specifications, product pricing or availability of productResolve customer complaints by performing activities such as exchanging merchandise or adjusting bills, or refer the call to the individual who can resolve the complaintProvide accurate information regarding availability of in-stock itemsObtain accurate information from vendors relating to shipment dates, expected date of delivery, etc. and provide to customersAccurately enter sales orders from customers into the business systemIdentify trends in customer satisfaction or dissatisfactionAttend sales and product review meetingsKeep records as requiredStay abreast of product developments, changes in local codes and consumer preferencesOther duties/responsibilities as assigned by the Department Manager Qualifications Three years of related experience or equivalent training in trade fieldsStrong computer and Microsoft Office Suite knowledgeAbility to assess customer needs and provide customer satisfactionAbility to communicate information and ideas effectively with customers by telephone and in personAbility to identify solutions, conclusions or approaches to provide customer satisfaction; and still consider the relative costs and benefits to all involved
