Customer Service Coordinator
Description Robert Half is partnering with a well-established global distributor to find a Customer Support Specialist with a strong focus on regulatory compliance. This distributor specializes in providing a wide range of high-quality products such as magnet wire, connectivity cable, motors, drives, and insulation products, serving various industries through their extensive distribution network across North America. This position is critical to ensuring compliance with industry regulations while delivering an exceptional customer experience. Key Responsibilities: + Investigate and resolve customer complaints or escalate as necessary, ensuring that resolutions align with regulatory requirements. + Process RMAs, vendor-direct orders, item add requests, and credit inquiries with a primary focus on compliance policies and procedures. + Collaborate with internal teams to conduct thorough investigations and make decisions that balance business interests, customer satisfaction, and regulatory adherence. + Maintain detailed documentation of customer interactions, compliance workflows, and resolutions to ensure transparency and accuracy. + Enforce company policies and procedures aligned with regulatory standards when handling unauthorized deduction investigations, unit-of-measure conversions, and credit requests. Requirements Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience). Preference for candidates with prior experience in regulatory compliance. + 1-3 years of customer service experience, ideally in an industrial or manufacturing setting. + Proficient with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and order entry software. Skills and Competencies: + Excellent attention to detail, particularly when dealing with compliance-related documentation. + Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to effectively address customer needs while adhering to compliance guidelines. + Adaptability and a continuous improvement mindset to stay updated on evolving regulatory requirements. + Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills to succeed in a customer-focused, team environment.
