Customer Service Representative Inbound/Outbound - Interview Happening This Week  

Industry: Remote 

Compensation: $18.00 an hour 

Job Description: 

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Customer Service Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for handling cancellations and addressing moderate to complex inquiries related to various types of insurance policies. The ideal candidate will efficiently and professionally resolve service concerns, document customer requests, and complete policy changes. Service to customers may include inbound/outbound calls, incoming correspondence, other communication sources, and call transfers for service transactions. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Assist with customer product retention. 

Review coverages and save policies (must be licensed). 

Resolve routine, complex, and unique questions/issues. 

Ensure first call resolution and customer satisfaction on all transactions handled. 

Employ probing questions and actively listen to customer issues or questions, showing interest, compassion, and empathy. 

Demonstrate accuracy in processing changes to customer policies and identify opportunities for cross sales (if applicable). 

Maintain a working knowledge of insurance policies and related processes and procedures. 

Handle requests regarding customer documentation, clearly explain them, and manage follow-ups and updates as warranted. 

Stay current on new marketing campaigns to respond appropriately to marketing-related inquiries using all available resources. 

Input and track information into the appropriate databases. 

Additional Skills: 

High school diploma or equivalent experience. 

2-3 years of call center experience preferred. 

Life & Health license required, based on business unit requirements. 

Must be licensed in 50% of the following states: FL & GA must be two of the licensed states (excluding VT, HI, NY, NH). The licensed states are: AK, AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, DE, FL, GA, HI, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NM, NV, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WI, WV, WY. 

2-3 years of Life & Health sales experience preferred. 

Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal). 

Proficient computer skills, including typing proficiency, multi-tasking between online applications, and working knowledge of Microsoft products (Outlook, Excel, folders). 

Flexible and adaptable to business requirements for changes needed to service the customer. 

Ability to collaborate with peers and management on special projects and committees. 

Strong time management skills. 

Ability to prioritize and multi-task. 

Comfortable with making cold calls as a welcome to the company and requesting information. 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: 

Must be able to present your NPN or Agent License Number during the interview.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00
