About Repro Mail
ReproMail is the City and County of San Francisco's central printing and mailing facility offering services to all City Departments. All ReproMail employees are cross-trained to partake in all areas of production and delivery.

Appointment Type: This is a Temporary Provisional (TPV) position excluded by the Charter from the competitive Civil Service examination process. It is considered "at will" and shall serve at the discretion of the Department Head. This position will be subject to the Permanent Civil Service examination process at a later date. Successful participation in the Permanent Civil Service examination and selection through an open competitive process is needed in order to be considered for the permanent appointment
Process high volume mail and high volume print production
Summary of Position Responsibilities:
+ Deliver exceptional customer service.
+ Manage high-volume printing utilizing specialized industry software.
+ Manage high-volume mail processing, including sorting and applying metered postage.
+ Execute printing and bindery processes efficiently.
+ Address client inquiries and deliver accurate price estimates.
+ Stay updated on USPS processes, rules, and regulations to offer precise and cost-effective solutions to City departments.
+ Ensure timely completion of orders
+ Lead mailroom and printing teams to handle daily, time-sensitive tasks
Experience: Three (3) years of highly responsible and diversified clerical experience including preparing and processing complex detailed work impacting an entire department or section; responding to and resolving difficult day-to-day problems and/or complaints encountered by staff, the public, other individuals, etc. on office operations and procedures; and explaining and interpreting complicated information to departments, staff, the public and/or others.
Substitution:
Any one of the following may substitute for six (6) months of the required experience:
Completion of a clerical training program (240 hours); OR
15 semester units (or equivalent quarter units) of coursework from an accredited college or university; OR
Completion of an approved City and County of San Francisco Clerical Administrative training program (as designated on the job announcement).
Desirable Qualifications:
+ 30 months of experience processing High Volume Mail
+ 30 months of High Volume Print Production experience

Compensation Range: $86,736-$105,482 annually
