Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Project Leader to join the Customer Service Team in Chicago, IL. This position will serve as the primary customer contact and project administrator for order related activities. The successful candidate will have demonstrated ability in establishing and maintaining positive business relationships; both internally and externally.
We are seeking someone with project/order management overview experience. This position has a set customer base managing large orders requiring attention to customer needs, a sense of urgency, and a commitment to service, as the customer defines it. She/he will be responsible for supporting customers with order configuration, order processing and status, ensuring delivery requirements and deadlines are met, and complaint resolution. The Customer Service Project Leader is expected to exercise sound judgment and creativity in meeting both business goals and customer expectations. This position reports to the Customer Service Supervisor.
What Will You Do?
Ensure all orders are processed accuratelyEnsure all customer requests for product and general information are processed accurately and are delivered to the customer within the agreed upon lead-time.Ensure that all customer databases are accurate and stable at all times.Manage a monthly budget aimed to find resolution of any complaints which can’t be processed within the department policies and procedures.Ensure promptly resolution of any claims by adhering, as much as possible, to the department policies and proceduresEstablish and maintain business partnerships with customers QualificationsRequired Skills
Associate degree in business is a plus3-5 years’ customer service experience (customer care, order entry, etc.)Customer Service experience within the lighting, electric, or construction industries is a plusMRP and Windows knowledgeProficient with the use of computer-based tools – JD Edwards (preferred), MS Office SuiteCompetencies:
Must be capable of solving problems in intense, time-compressed situationsOutstanding communication in English, both orally and in writing at multiple levelsPassionate about customer-service with a sense of urgency.Detail oriented, well organized, and able to multi-taskProfessional appearance and attitude
