ASSA ABLOY is adding a Customer Service Q.A. to the Team! This role will be based onsite out of our South Central Service Center or regional manufacturing facility.

What would you do as our Customer Service Q.A.?

You would play an integral role in ensuring the success and satisfaction of our valued customers. You will be responsible for providing front-line support, follow up and assist with resolutions ensuring customer satisfaction. This position will have the opportunity to work closely with internal teams such as Engineering, Sales, Production and Distribution, as well as an external liaison with Suppliers, Distributors, Architects, and Contractors.

 

You would also:

• Order entry, negotiations, clarification of problems, resolutions, root-cause analysis, scheduling, and triage orders for entry.

• Review, price, and route all customer correspondence and orders as appropriate based on standard protocol and need. 

• Aid in claims assessments: office & manufacturing issues.

• Serve as Backup support to scheduling as needed.

• Provide technical and problem-solving support to manufacturing, customers & inside sales. Explore opportunities to help optimize order management as well as manufacturing process flow and quality.

• Aid in the development of system/process enhancements that will improve the team’s quality performance to meet or exceed company objectives.

• Support continuous improvement activities as needed or assigned.

• Abide by, support, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, AADG policies and procedures and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct.

• Effective communication skills via email and phone conversations required. 

 

What we are looking for:

• 2 years of hollow metal industry experience preferred, but not required.

• Strong, functional understanding of manufacturing environment, technical background preferred

• Analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail & commitment to accuracy

• Must be an approachable, patient listener, with excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to lay audiences. 

• Self-starter with the ability to appropriately analyze, prioritize and plan complex work in a rapidly changing environment

• Hardware and application experience required

• Order processing experience in Hollow Metal or related industry

• Must be able to understand basic process flows and procedures

• High level of analytical ability to gather and interpret data.

• Intermediate to advanced computer skills
