Customer Service Representative-Corrugated Industry

Serving customers in Ohio, PCA Ashland takes pride in offering outstanding customer service. We are a full-service supplier of corrugated shipping containers and value-added solutions. Our customers rely on us for package testing, structural design solutions, just-in-time (JIT) deliveries and rush orders.

 

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients, responsible for managing orders, providing quotes, and addressing any issues or concerns. This role requires problem-solving and a deep understanding of corrugated and its applications in the industry, in addition to maintaining customer relationships

 

We are seeking resumes for a Customer Service Representative with knowledge and experience in the corrugated business.

 

Responsibilities include:

Manage and process customer orders in a timely and efficient mannerProvide accurate and competitive quotes to clientsMaintain a comprehensive understanding of our products, particularly corrugate, to provide expert advice and recommendations to clientsHandle customer complaints and issues, offering swift and effective solutions to maintain customer satisfactionCollaborate with our logistics, design and sales teams to ensure that customer requirements are met and expectations exceededMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and transactionsParticipate in regular training and development activities to enhance product knowledge and customer service skillsWork closely with scheduling, materials planning, logistics, and operation support roles

 

Monitor inventory for customer needs

 

Follow procedures and processes to ensure that customer requirements are met and provide feedback and opportunities for improvement to appropriate internal departments

 

Order print plates and cutting dies for customers

 

Handle existing smaller/house accounts partnering with sales team

 

 

Basic Qualifications - Skills: 

 

High school degree or equivalent 

 

Previous experience in customer service is preferred

 

Experience in the corrugated industry a plusDetail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and within time constraintsA self-starter with a strong work ethic and a commitment to continuous improvement.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacyMust exhibit excellent communication and organizational skillsMust be capable of independently making sound decisions through creative problem-solvingProficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and customer management software
