6 months to 1-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Strong organizational and prioritization skills are critical. Attention to detail is a top priority. Understanding of transportation documentation process an asset. Effective interpersonal skills- including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, and to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing. Proficient computer skills- solid data entry with high accuracy rate, email, internet, Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Fluent in English, both written and verbal Desire for a career in supply chain/logistics.Responsibilities:
Ensure the proper and timely movement of freight and information, while providing an exceptional customer service within the Transcon department. Ensure a smooth and timely process flow, with the warehouse team. Accurate and timely data entry into the operational system Updating events code for reporting systems. Report the status/updates internally and to the customers. Ensure that customer’s freight is delivered on timely base. Ensure documents are timely sent to the customers or/ and internal team. Interact with our customers in arranging their shipments, meeting customer service standards. Contribute to maintain strong relationships with vendors/ customers. Meet compliance at all times to regulations. This includes internal policies and procedures such as Operational Process Standards (OPS) and external government regulations or customer’s policies/requirements. Understand department process flow, constantly looking for areas of improved efficiency. Ensure all customers standard operating procedures are followed and updated in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Meet KPI standards, as per the company’s procedures/customs requirements. communications, timely responses to emails and requests (internal and external) Open to work overtime as operation request, work weekend and on National Holidays You will be part of a professional/international, open, and enthusiastic team.
