Customer Service Rep II
Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity in Houston, Texas for a Customer Service Rep II. This role is critical in our corporate setting and is primarily focused on providing quality customer service, managing revenue risk, and promoting effective public relations. Responsibilities: • Efficiently and accurately process customer credit applications. • Maintain precise records of customer credit. • Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints related to billing policies and procedures. • Adapt responses as required to handle different situations. • Provide guidance and direction to team members with less experience. • Receive and respond to inbound calls in a courteous manner. • Record and process commitments on customer accounts as needed. • Collaborate with call centers and customers to resolve any issues. • Report any fraudulent activities to management. • Leverage your decision-making skills to respond to both routine and non-routine customer requests. • Utilize your knowledge of Texas deregulation to enhance customer service delivery, though this is not mandatory. Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Customer Service • Familiarity with various Procedures and Policies • Experience with Billing and Onboarding processes • Understanding of Revenue Accounting principles • Proficiency in Public Relations and Staffing • Experience working with Suppliers and handling Complaints • Knowledge of Risk Management practices • Familiarity with Commission Functions and Onsite operations • Excellent Decision-Making skills • Experience managing an Expense Account • Ability to work effectively within a Business Unit • Experience creating and implementing Validation Plans • Knowledge of Call Center Operations • A Plus certification is beneficial • Familiarity with Cyber security principles • Ability to communicate in a Courteous Manner • Knowledge of NIS and Nerc • Experience managing a Contingent Workforce • Demonstrated ability in Adaptation to changing circumstances TalentMatch® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
